writing this with ella on my lap, perched on the table.
i went camping this weekend to Galiano island and when we climbed the mountain up to sit on a dangerous cliff, i wondered if these were the moments i should have been chasing more often, and with more vigour all my life. i wonder if, as i get older, the drama that seems to follow so many of my friends will start to look more dusty and repetitive ( they already do ) .
i met a cute irish boy who kissed me by the fire and under the stars and called me lovely.
it was a good weekend, truly.
