he messaged me back! said he was mountain biking down the most dangerous hill in la paz, bolivia (death road). he also mentioned he barely knows how to bike and has never even owned one.

i was like, fuck.

anyway. he survived :)

i wonder how different or the same dumbo will be when he returns. i imagine him complete and full of wonderful ridiculous stories about people and a culture i have very little knowledge about. can't wait to see.

to make myself feel better, i'm going on a weekend snowboarding trip and then straight to mexico this february. :)
