today i went to a health fair, it was pretty great. i got a pin that said quit smoking now and placed it beside my i love nurses pin. as i was waiting for the bus a couple of nurses came by and sat next to me and took out their cigarettes. you can imagine my distress. anyway. i like the idea of community nursing in that i can be more independent and the fact that its all about networking and building relationships. i like that. today i contacted two nurses to tell me how best to teach 11-12 year olds about drug abuse and whatever. i am quite excited about this whole ordeal. nervous, of course because of the issue and because i myself struggle with it a lot. i mean, i'm going to be a hypocrite essentially. 6:30 p.m. - 2010-04-28 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
